Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has urged David Moyes to keep the Manchester United hot-seat warm for him - not in real life, but in another brilliant new spoof video made by FM104.
The three-and-a-half minute clip starts with Sir Alex Ferguson ringing up Moyes and informing the beleaguered Red Devils’ manager that he has gone back on his promise not to interfere in his business. He then goes on to say that Moyes has endured a worse start at Old Trafford than anyone could have envisaged - which is also true in real life - before telling his successor that he has drafted someone in to provide a few tips.
Anyone familiar with FM104’s output over recent years will probably have guessed by this point who Ferguson was referring to. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho then comes into the phone conversation and briefly speaks to Moyes before singing a song goading the Manchester United boss over the tune of Katy Perry’s smash-hit song “Roar”.
Once that finishes, a peeved Moyes accepts this as his first warning from Ferguson, before Mourinho shouts: “Hey Moyesy, keep that seat warm for me”.
It’s a very amusing spoof video, and superbly made by the guys at FM104.
But how realistic is it? Could Manchester United attract Mourinho to replace Moyes at Old Trafford despite his allegiance to Chelsea?
Have your say - after watching the video - at the top of the page!
