Jonathan’s Political Ascension is the Work of God’-Pastor Tunde Bakare


The presiding Pastor of the Latter Rain Assembly and running mate to Major Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) in the 2011 elections, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has described the meteoric political rise of President Jonathan as something that can only be the work of God.


Bakare, who spoke in a never before heard interview made several startling claims including an allegation that the 5 PDP governors who decamped to the APC are moles sent by the PDP to destroy the APC from within.
He also said that Nigeria may have to settle for a Muslim/Muslim tickets and appealed for Nigerians to make exceptions for such a ticket.
In other claims, Bakare exonerated President Jonathan from any wrongdoing in granting a pardon to former Bayelsa state governor, Diepriye Alamieyeseigha and explained why he supported the move and encouraged the President to pardon him.
