16-year-old Nigeria’s Chika Amalaha fails drug test @ Glasgow

Weightlifting champ and Nigeria’s first gold medalist at the ongoing Commonwealth Games ChikaAmalaha has been suspended from the Commonwealth games for testing positive to banned substances amilioride and hydrochlorothiazides. The 16-year-old had on Saturday won gold medal in the 53kg category before testing positive shortly afterwards.
