Manchester United's Cavani deal hangs on European qualification
Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani will only think about moving to Manchester United this summer if the Red Devils secure Champions League qualification, reports The Daily Mail.
The Uruguayan forward has been linked with a mega £55 million move to the Theatre of Dreams in recent time, however it appears that he wants to stay in Europe's elite competition.
Reports have suggested that Cavani isn't sure as to whether a move to Manchester United would represent a forward step in his career.
The striker only moved to PSG last year, however could now depart Ligue 1 in the next window. But a move to Manchester United now appears unlikely with the club set to miss out on Champions League football for next season.
David Moyes' side currently sit way off the pace in the race for top four in England's elite division, meaning they may have to win the Champions League in order to qualify for the competition again.
However, Manchester United have a mountain to climb at just the Round of 16 stage. Moyes' side are currently 2-0 down to Greek outfit Olympiacos and will be desperate to reach the quarter final stage.
Cavani's current team PSG team have already booked their place in the next round of the competition after they saw off German outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
