Reports are reaching us that 40 men on okadas are blocking the roundabout on Admiralty Way in Lekki Phase 1, leading to Lekki/Ikoyi link bridge.

Later on Thursday,a police spokesman, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, told the News Agency of Nigeria normality had returned to the area and people were now safe to return home and to their businesses.
It was reported that the demonstration began around 2pm, and it paralysed commercial activities at the area.
According to The Guardian, the protest in the area started when the residents said they no longer needed the services of the commercial motorcyclists.
