1. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State has nominated an Indigenous Lagosian from Ikorodu Area of the State as their Governorship Candidate, in the person of Mr. Jimi Agbaje.
A mere mention of Ikorodu brings GREAT MEMORIES of great Ndigbo political allies, like Chief Adeniran Ogunsanya and Chief TOS Benson.

Chief Adeniran Ogunsanya and Chief TOS Benson will not be happy with Ndigbo of today, if we fail to support their son Jimi Agbaje as the next governor of Lagos State, hence Ikorodu is yet to produce a governor of Lagos State.
2. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State has recognised the economic contributions of Ndigbo in Lagos State and assured not to mix politics with the affairs of major markets in Lagos State that can be called Ndigbo Markets, such as Ladipo Auto Spare Parts Market, but rather to enhance these markets for greater service to the State in a very transparent and fair approach.
3. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State has accommodated the political interest of Ndigbo in Lagos State by giving a few Federal House of Representatives and State House of Assembly seats to Ndigbo and South-South residents in Lagos State, in the constituencies that are heavily dominated by Ndigbo residents.
4. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State has assured to remove the Lekki Toll Gates hence it was built on an existing road.
5. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State has assured to reduce the excessive taxation policies of Lagos State government and to upgrade inner city roads of areas Ndigbo residents dominates.
6. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State has assured to run an institutional and people oriented governance, knowing that they will always go back to the people to seek mandate renewal, quite distinctive from the one man dictatorship governance of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
7. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State has assured to carry Ndigbo along in political appointments in the State, down to local council wards.
8. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State has assured to create a beloved community of all the peoples of Lagos State, regardless to tribe or ethnic inclinations.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State has assured to recognize the Eze-Ndigbo traditional institutions and the Igbo Annual Yam Festivals, as a way of co-operating with Ndigbo efforts towards attainment of their culture and secure their language from dying while away from their home States.
10. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State has assured a fair, level playing field and equal treatment to all Lagos State residents, if voted into office.
11. Ndigbo in Lagos State recognises the need to have a governor that will be on the same party with President Goodluck Jonathan, hence Lagos is the economic capital city of Nigeria. A political relationship that will be cordial, like father and son, which will assist ease the burden of the state, instead of over taxing the residents and blame it on the absence of the federal government.
