Unidentified militants abducted Bayelsa monarch Christian Otobotekere. His Royal Highness was kidnapped early in the morning on Thursday in the riverside town of Tombia in the outskirt of Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital.

His Royal Highness, Christian Otobotekere was kidnapped on Thursday early in the morning. The supreme leader of the community was taken to the unknown direction by unidentified gunmen from the town of Tombia in the outskirt of Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital.

The wife of former Speaker of Bayelsa State House of Assembly and ex-acting governor of the state, Madam Martha Nestor Binabo was abducted two weeks ago at Agbura community in the outskirts of Yenagoa the state capital.
The 48-year-old victim was abducted at about 11.30am by five armed men clad in military camouflage in front of a company where she is the director. Later kidnappers have released the ex-first lady.
